TIN KAN PROJECT OVERSIGHT CHECKLIST Use this before a reporting deadline or project review. Score each statement 0 (no), 1 (partly), or 2 (yes). 1. We can see every active workstream without consolidating separate spreadsheets. 2. Each material item has one current owner. 3. Blocked work is visible before a status meeting. 4. Team leaders can manage their own work without losing the project-wide view. 5. Project members know the next action expected of them. 6. We can explain what changed, when, and by whom. 7. Evidence and context sit with the relevant work, not only in individual inboxes. 8. We can distinguish work that is progressing from work that merely looks busy. 9. A project manager can prepare an accurate snapshot without chasing every partner. 10. Permissions reflect who needs to act, review or simply stay informed. SCORING 0–7: Project visibility is fragile. Start with ownership and one shared current view. 8–14: Important controls are in place, but reporting may still depend on heroic effort. 15–20: The project has a strong operating rhythm. Look for ways to make it easier to sustain. TinKan Projects — tinkanprojects.com
